Sitemap URL Extractor

Paste a sitemap URL and pull out every page it lists, including nested sitemaps. Export the full list as CSV for audits and migrations.

Free, no sign-up. Follows nested sitemaps automatically.

How to use it

Paste the address of your sitemap, usually yoursite.co.uk/sitemap.xml, and the tool reads it on the server and pulls out every page URL it lists. If the address points at a sitemap index, the tool follows the child sitemaps it points to and gathers the URLs from each, so you get the whole list in one place.

Once the list is ready you can open any URL to spot-check it, or download the lot as a CSV with a single url column. That file drops straight into a spreadsheet, which is handy for content audits, site migrations and checking what search engines can actually see.

Reading other sites has to happen on the server, not in your browser, so the tool sends the address to a small endpoint that does the fetching. Very large sitemaps are capped to keep things fast, and the results tell you if the list was trimmed.

Frequently asked questions

What is a sitemap?

A sitemap is an XML file that lists the pages on your site you want search engines to find. Larger sites often use a sitemap index that points to several smaller sitemaps.

Does this tool follow nested sitemaps?

Yes. If you paste a sitemap index, the tool reads the child sitemaps it points to and gathers the page URLs from each, up to a sensible limit, so you get the full list in one place.

Why would I export the URLs?

A clean list of every URL is useful for content audits, site migrations, checking what search engines can see, and spotting pages that should not be in the sitemap at all.
