FAQ Schema Generator
Turn your questions and answers into valid FAQPage JSON-LD in seconds. Copy and paste it into your page to help Google show rich FAQ results.
Add your questions and answers to build the schema.
How to use it
Type a question in the first box and the matching answer underneath. Add as many pairs as you like with the "Add question" button, and remove any you do not need. The code on the right updates as you type, so there is nothing to submit.
When you are happy, hit "Copy code" and paste the whole block into the page that shows the same questions and answers to visitors. It goes inside the page head or body. You can also download the raw JSON if you prefer to keep it in your codebase.
FAQ schema tells Google that a page holds a set of questions and answers. That helps search engines understand the page, and it can make your result stand out with expandable questions right in the listing. One rule matters above all: the questions and answers in the code must match what people can actually read on the page. If they do not, Google can ignore the markup or flag it. Run the result through the Rich Results Test before you publish to confirm it is valid.
Frequently asked questions
What is FAQ schema and why does it matter?
FAQ schema is structured data that tells search engines a page contains a list of questions and answers. It helps Google understand your content and can make your result stand out with expandable questions, which often means more clicks.
Where do I put the code this tool gives me?
Paste the JSON-LD inside a script tag in the head or body of the page that shows the same questions and answers to visitors. The questions and answers in the code must match what people can actually read on the page.
Will FAQ schema get me rich results?
Schema makes a page eligible for rich results, but Google decides whether to show them. Valid markup, content that genuinely answers the question, and a trusted site all help your chances.
